I offer individual therapy for adolescents and adults, as well as family therapy. I also work individually with parents, caregivers, and partners who are supporting a loved one with an eating disorder or substance use concern.

Fees

Umbrella Psychotherapy is a private pay practice. I am unable to accept insurance directly but can provide superbills for individual and family sessions for potential out-of-network reimbursement. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available.

Individual therapy · $185 / 50 min

Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and Family Therapy · $200 / 50 min

Group therapy · $50 / session (adults) · $60 / session (teens)

FAQs

  • Individual and family therapy appointments require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee

  • Yes! I typically work with ages 12+ and will occasionally make exceptions. If I am working with an adolescent, I require parent involvement. What “parent involvement “ looks like is determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • I do! I can see clients virtually or in person. If you live outside the state of Texas, I cannot provide therapy, but you can contact me for recovery coaching.

  • LCSW stands for Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This means that I have completed a masters program, obtained 3,000 clinical hours, and taken a board exam. I am certified with the state of Texas to provide therapy.

  • CEDS stands for Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and is an advanced certificate that requires 2500 clinical hours, a case study, completion of 4 courses and corresponding tests, and a proctored certification exam.

  • No. A diagnosis is not required to begin therapy or join a group. If you're struggling with your relationship to food, your body, or your emotions, that's enough to reach out.

  • Primarily yes. My specialty is eating disorders, with additional experience in co-occurring substance use. I do not treat general anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns as a primary focus.
