Individual Therapy
My therapeutic style is direct, warm and yes, sometimes funny. Building real rapport isn't incidental to the work, it is the work. Sessions integrate psychoeducation on eating disorders and substance use alongside hands-on skills practice. You are the expert of your own experience. I bring the clinical tools. Together we figure out what movement actually looks like.
My approach to therapy
Therapy doesn't have to stay within the walls of the office. Exposure work is a core part of eating disorder treatment and is most effective when it happens in real contexts with real support. Here are some examples of where we might take your sessions:Clothing shopping
Attending a movement/exercise class
Grocery shopping or cooking
Eating a fear food or going to a feared restaurant
Attending a support meeting
